I hope that everyone has had a wonderful Christmas filled with fun, relaxation, and prosperity. I didn't expect it with times as hard as they are, but my parents surprised me and bought me a Nikon D3000 for Christmas. I was planning on working the duration of my winter break to purchase a D5000, but I'm surely not disappointed in what I received. Since I have got it, I have had a hard time keeping my hands off of it. Now that I have a good camera that can produce excellent quality, I plan to be adding a lot more stuff to my blog and begin to start some new photography work which will also be posted soon.
As of now I am unfortunately working with a simple Sony Cybershot Point and Shoot. With times as tough as they are and the state the economy is in, it will be a little while until I'm finally able to afford the camera that I need and want. I am hoping to eventually be able to purchase either a Nikon D90 or a Nikon D3000. I need a camera that will provide me with the quality and dependability that I need.
Since I have never purchased a Digital SLR, I'm going to need your help in letting me know what to get and give me some in site on what you think of the Nikon D90 and Nikon D3000.
My name is Adam, I am currently attending Western Connecticut State University to be a Photographer. Over the past few years, my love for art has grown stronger and stronger. I hope that this blog will illustrate my passion for art and will provide you with work that you will enjoy. Not only will I be using this blog as a "portfolio," but I will also be featuring other fellow photographers that I really appreciate. Thanks, enjoy!
